2018 – 2019 District 6450 Peace in Action

Special District Grant Application Instructions

Special District Grants up to $1,000 are available to Clubs for Peace in Action projects!

Requests due by October 31, 2018

BE A PARTNER IN PEACE – IT’S AS EASY AS 1, 2, 3 FOLLOWING THESE STEPS

 

1.  Apply for a Special Peace in Action District Grant by October 31, 2018: Clubs may submit one Special District Grant  
    application for up to $1,000 by completing the Peace in Action District Grant Application and emailing it to 
    Grants@Rotary6450.net.

·         Multiple Clubs may work together on a single project and file one application. The lead Club will receive the
          grant funds.

·         The project expenditures must occur between July 1, 2018 and May 31, 2019.

 

2.  Implement Peace in Action project with local Peace Partner: Keep thorough records of expenses and financial
     transactions. Acceptable Proof of Expense Payments includes: cancelled checks, bank statements, bonafide itemized
     receipts.  Share news about your project to promote the cause. Let people know how Rotarians participated.

 

3.  Clubs are encouraged to file their Final Reports as soon as possible after their projects are finished by completing the 
     Peace in Action District Grant Final Report and emailing it, along with valid Proof of Expense Payments, to 
     Grants@Rotary6450.net.

Timeline:
 
The deadline to submit District Grant requests for 2018-19 has passed.

A Club's District Grant request will not be paid:

  • if the Final Report for the current Rotary year's District Grant has not been completed
  • if the Club is delinquent in its dues for Rotary International or for District 6450
  • if the Club has not submitted its Annual Fund and Polio Goals
