Dear Club Presidents,

Spring is the perfect time to schedule Chris Stein from the National Parks Service to speak to your club about the critical need to care for the pollinators in our region. He is a great speaker and it makes for an interesting Zoom meeting at the end of a year of too many boring Zoom meetings. Please contact him at Chris_Stein@nps.gov. The birds, the bees, our food chain, our district, and I all thank you for helping to spread the word about this important work!

And —at the end of the meeting-- we hope that your club, too, will sign the Pollinator Pledge to show our support of our district initiative, Operation Pollination.

Also, please let me know how many people from your club will be meeting us at Grant Park on Saturday, April 24th, for the Grant Park clean-up, part of The Great Lakes Watershed Clean-Up project. It’s from 10-12, and together we WILL make a difference in keeping our beloved Lake Michigan clean.

Happy Spring!

Yours in Rotary Service,

Manon
