Women in Rotary Survey Results

Thank you to those who participated.

Of the 1775 Rotarians who are members of the 60 clubs in Rotary International District 6450, 617 are
female or 34.8 %. Of the female members 585 have registered emails with Rotary International. They
were sent a short survey and 120 responded or 20.5%. Of the 1,211,828 worldwide Rotarians, 274,900
or 22.7% are women. In Zone 28, which District 6450 is a member of, there are 28,853 members and
9272 are women or 32.1%. Thus, our district is above average for the Upper Midwest Rotary Clubs
collectively and significantly higher in female membership than worldwide.

2018-2019 Club Grants for Membership Development


The District Board has grants to support membership development. Clubs may complete a form for a new member promotion, event, etc. and request up to $250 as a match for the cost of the activity.   Multiple Club events may request up to $500.  Steps:  1) complete the top half of this form and submit to Upon submission of the request you will be informed of your grant status. 2) then hold your event. 3) complete a report of your event, bottom half of form by June 1, 2019 and submit to 
Grants will remain available until all available funds have been designated.
