2020-2021 Rotary Theme
otary International President-elect Holger Knaack is encouraging Rotarians to seize the many opportunities Rotary offers to enrich their lives and the communities they serve.

In celebration of Dr. Martin Luther King Day, let us remember that discrimination is allowed to flourish if we all look the other way.  If we do not use every opportunity to invite someone in, to welcome someone, to reach out, then we allow discrimination to grow.  It can be frightening to be open to someone that thinks differently, looks different, has a different history or lifestyle.  We must meet people where they are and welcome them to Rotary.  Let’s pledge to be sure our clubs reflect our communities.  That the door to a Rotary club is open to all and that, in our District, in our clubs, EVERYONE is invited to take a seat at the table.

Rotary Foundation Committee News

District Grant checks were mailed to participating Clubs in December. Thank you for the wonderful projects you are doing to help others in your communities! Please share your stories with your communities, Rotary and on social media. We want to let people know about the great work Rotary is doing!

We have several training events planned and invite you to join us:

- Feb 8 Club Foundation Chairs Seminar

- April 4 Grants Management Seminar

We are also planning 2 Foundation Roadshows for sometime in February, dates to be advised. One will be in the northern part of the District, and one in the south.

Rotary has the mission to Do Good in the World, but we need the money to fulfill our mission. If you are contributing to The Rotary Foundation by giving $100 every Rotary year, thank you for being a part of EREY - Every Rotarian Every Year. If you are not participating yet, please consider contributing to The Rotary Foundation today. There is no better time than today! ROTARY.ORG
